BuzzSouthAfrica gathered that the men gang raped the teen on November 11 after she was abducted by one of them. The teen was abducted while she was walking alone on Robert Sobukwe Road around 20:00.
The man then took her to a shack where he and other eight men gang raped her repeatedly. She was then held overnight and released the next day. The suspects, whose ages are between 18-20, appeared in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court this week, where they submitted affidavits to the state requesting to be granted bail. The State is expected to respond to their application in February.
