Justice Nyesom-Wike lauds Rivers Mothers for upholding Governor Wike in their prayers

 
Wife of the Rivers State Governor, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike has lauded Rivers mothers  for upholding Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike in their prayers, saying that the 2017 Golden Jubilee Celebration will mark the  beginning of greater things for the state.
 
Speaking at the Saint Peter's Anglican Church, Rumuepirikom during the celebration of this year's Mother's Day, Justice Nyesom-Wike applauded the governor  for the massive  construction of roads, basic amenities  and the initiation of pro-people  projects. 
 
She however, said that for a state that is fifty years old, Rivers State  ought to have made more progress. 
 
"We are rejoicing over well constructed roads, streets, street lights and other basic amenities that the  administration of my husband  is providing  for the people. 
 
"I feel that considering  that  we are  50 years  as a state, this is not what we should be talking about.  We should  be  talking  about much bigger  things.
 
 
"I declare that this year will be the beginning of much  bigger things for Rivers State.  We will have so much to celebrate that people will remember the government of Nyesom Wike for a long time ".
 
She called  for the return of the days of communal  living and support when people looked after other.
 
Also on Sunday, Wife of the Rivers State Governor, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike was represented by the Women Affairs Commissioner, Mrs Ukel Oyaghiri at the Mother's Day  celebration of Anglican Dioscese of Evo Oroigwe/Eligbolo Archdeaconry, 19 Eliozu Farm Road 1, Eliozu Town..
 
She called  on the mothers to remain committed to the development of the state, irrespective of the challenges  that confront  them.
 
Deputy Governor Ipalibo Harry Banigo also attended the Mother's Day celebration of Anglican Dioscese of Evo/Oroigwe, where she encouraged the women to always  support the administration. 
 
Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike gave  out gifts to mothers of the two Anglican  Churches visited, assuring  them  of the state government’s commitment  to  their  welfare.
