A poverty-stricken mother abandoned her newborn baby triplets at the
Romanian hospital where they were born because she couldn’t afford to
look after them.
Jeaneta Bente, 32, left daughters Alexandra,
Isabela and Cristina at the maternity ward in Drobeta Turnu-Severin
shortly after giving birth to them three weeks ago.
The story made headlines across the country, with the identity of the mum unknown.
