Thug threatens to stab hotel receptionist before snatching £8,000 Rolex given to her by late gran

A hotel receptionist was left shaken and distraught after her treasured £8,000 Rolex watch was snatched from her wrist in a terrifying robbery.

A masked man burst into the Liverpool hotel and threatened to stab Aideen Wilson, 23, if she refused to hand over the diamond-encrusted watch.
The pearl-faced Rolex Datejust watch was given to her by her late grandmother,Police have launched an investigation into what they described as an “unusually rare” crime.
Aideen, who lives in Orrell Park, was working alone when the robber struck at the Signature Living hotel in Stanley Street around 9.30pm on Tuesday.
She told how the hooded crook shouted: “Give me your f***ing watch,” before threatening to stab her.
Aideen said: “The man’s face was covered with a scarf and at first I thought it was someone joking. I said: ‘Who’s that?’
“He shouted ‘give me your f***ing watch’, ‘give me your f***ing watch or I’ll stab you’.”
