Man who lost huge skull fragment re-learns to walk to marry woman who nursed him back to health

Jason Moss
A groom-to be who almost died has learned to walk again - in time for his wedding to the woman who nursed him back to health.

Jason Moss married sweetheart Jolene and credits her with seeing him through a horrendous illness which saw him face just a 25 per cent chance of survival.
His ordeal began on a romantic trip to Egypt when he became ill with a bout of vomiting.
He later suffered a blood clot and then a major stroke - which left him fighting for life.

It was, says Jason, Jolene's love and patience which set him on the road to recovery.
By Christmas 2014 he had learned to walk short distances - and decided to celebrate his achievements by walking up the aisle with his sweetheart.
Jolene, 34, says: "They say love conquers all and I think we've proved that.

"I've seen Jason go from being as helpless as a baby, fighting his way back to the man I love.
"He was insistent that he would learn to walk again in time for our wedding and he has done it. I am so proud of him."
