Teenage golf star planning US move to launch career killed in car crash

An aspiring golf star who was about to move to the US to launch his career died in a car crash aged just 19.
Jack Mudd was a third-year student at the highly-acclaimed Golf College in West Sussex and was expected to turn professional.

But he was killed in a horrific car accident when his Peugeot 106 overturned in Hitchen, Herts, on October 4.
His parents Ann and Dave issued a heartbreaking tribute to their "beloved son".
They said: "It is with pure devastation and broken hearts that we pay this tribute to you."You will always be our beautiful baby boy and we simply cannot imagine life without you.
“There is now a huge hole in our family. Your brother Mark and your sister Kirsty, Nanny Dunn and Pops Jennings and the whole family are in pieces and cannot believe that you have been taken from us all so tragically soon.
“Your life has been cut short by a tragic accident.
