Killer's daughter begs dad to explain why he killed mum in savage knife attack

A killer's daughter has urged her dad to explain why he murdered her mum in a savage knife attack.

Darcy Cameron was just seven when Scott Storey stabbed Bridget Cameron, 35, in their home in Leith, Edinburgh.

Now 19, Darcy had to come to terms with a second family tragedy in January after her grandfather Alex Cameron, 67, was killed by his brother-in-law.

Speaking for the first time about the day in 2004 when her life was transformed, Darcy said: “I’d love to ask ‘why did you murder my mum?

"Why did you take her away from me? But I think he’d refuse because he’s a coward.

“I hate him with every bit of my being. He’s scum, I hope he rots.”
