Residents
of Ekool Umade-Amalem and Okpirim-Okana communities in Abua/Odual Local
Government Area of Rivers State have called on the State government to find a lasting solution to
flooding in the area occasioned by heavy rain.
A
Spokesperson of the area, Chief Umughani Ukoh who decried the flood situation in the Area said
the regular heavy rain fall in the area has greatly affected inhabitants.
Chief
Ukoh also urged the State Government to construct drainage system in the communities
to prevent the possibility of flood disaster.
