RIVERS STATE PROJECT


The Rivers State Commissioner for information, Dr. Austine Tam George has reiterated the State government's readiness to create opportunity for any  Rivers person who is prepared to work hard and play by the rules.


Dr. Tam George who state this during a live interactive programme on Treasure FM, Port Harcourt, said the government has set up  empowerment and learning centers in this regard.
On the issue of delayed payment of salaries in the State, Dr Tam George said this was due to the biometric capturing system to fish out ghost workers in the state civil service.
Dr Tam George also urged the people to fight insecurity by informing the police on any suspicious activities in their area.
The Commissioner called on the people to support the present administration to promote peace in the State
