Rivers
State Governor, Nyesom Wike has reiterated that his developmental projects will
cut across all communities in the state.

Wike stated this when Traditional rulers from Aluu Community paid him a courtesy
visit in Port Harcourt.

Wike said more road construction will be carried out in Aluu as he has already
approved the construction of a training center in the community.
The
Rivers State Governor also commended Aluu community for embracing the amnesty
programme by the state government and urged them to maintain the existing peace
and security in the area.
Earlier,
the Chairman of Aluu Council of Chiefs, Chief Ken Wobunwo said the visit was to
thank the Governor for his support during the burial of their son, late Captain
Elechi Amadi and immortalizing him by renaming Port Harcourt Polytechnics after
him as well as the reconstruction of Aluu road during his burial.
