Family’s desperate plea to find thugs who battered teenage boy on way home from school

A schoolboy suffered horrific facial injuries after he was attacked as he got off a bus.
His family are making a desperate plea to find the thugs who assaulted the 15-year-old on his way home from school in Bridgend, South Wales, last week.

The youngster, who has not been named, was taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw and a huge swelling to the right side of his face after the assault.
His family have now released disturbing photographs of his injuries to highlight their problems with bullies.

 

Family friend Sarah Davies posted the images on Facebook and they have been shared more than 8,000 times.
She wrote: “Please, if anyone saw anything please tell the police. I’m sharing this with his mum's permission.”
South Wales Police said a 17-year-old was arrested in connection with the attack and bailed.
