Boy, 13, dies two days after going missing from home without his medication

A 13-year-old boy has died two days after he went missing without his medication.

Blake Ross was found on a bus in Edinburgh at about 4pm yesterday after falling ill.

A search had been launched for the teenager after he was reported missing from the Howdenhall area of the city at around 3.15pm on Saturday.
The teenager, who had an underlying health condition, was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in the capital, where he died at around 9pm.

His death is being treated as unexplained and police are continuing their inquiries.
