Kidnapping In the State

Unidentified gunmen invaded Rumukwachi community in obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State and abducted two residents.

The gunmen who visited the community and made away with one Mr. Lucky Amadi and Mr. Rotimi Akpos his neighbor.
It was also gathered that stray bullets from the gunshots fired by those who attacked Mr. Akpos allegedly hit an elderly woman on the leg and in the stomach, before she was reportedly rushed to the hospital.
An eye witness and resident of the area said there were gunshots over the place .
The gunshots caused comotion in the area as people even youth who were playing football scampered for safety. However, Rivers state police public relations officer, PRO Ahmed Muhammed said he is yet to confirm the indecent.
