Rivers State
Commissioner for Environment, Professor Roseline Konya says the Ministry will
begin to reward youths who are committed to improving environmental status of
the state.
Professor Konya
who stated this after monitoring this month's sanitation exercise, commended a
cross section of youths in Rumuokoro who mobilized themselves to clean the
gutters.
The Commissioner
charged corporate bodies in the state to get more involved in social
responsibilities after inspection of a blocked drain in front of a commercial bank in Rumuokoro.
