CULT CLASHES IN THE STATE



More condemnations have continued to trail the rising cult clashes in parts of the state.

Speaking to Treasure FM in Port Harcourt, the State Coordinator of a non governmental organization, Youth for Peace and Good Leadership Initiative, Mr. Ekiye Ekiye expressed sadness over the killings and called on government at all levels to do more by engaging the youths in meaningful ventures.

Also, the Chairman of Christian Council of Nigeria, youth wing Mr. Ikiriko Adokiariye has condemned the spate of cult activities in the state calling on those involved to have a change of heart.
Mr. Adokiariye called on security agencies across the state to collaborate with the leadership of the affected communities to find lasting solution to the crisis.


The youth leaders called on youths to shun cultism.
