Six persons have
been killed in Ibaa community of Emohua Local Government Area of the State by
suspected cultists.
According to reports, the gunmen suspected to be members of rival cult groups
had invaded the community over the weekend.
Confirming the
incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Rivers State Police Command, Mr.
Ahmad Muhammad said it was a cult clash for supremacy.
Mr. Muhammad
however said three casualties were recorded and added that normalcy had been
restored in the community as a result of a swift response by the police.
