Governors of States
within the Niger Delta region have been urged to revamp moribund Federal
Government intervention schemes in the region for economic transformation of
the area.
The Special Adviser to
President Muhammadu Buhari on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Amnesty
Programme, retired Brigadier General Paul Boro who made the call, emphasised
that such move would create job opportunities for the teeming youths and quell
militancy in the region.
