ONNE Residents Urged To Co-operate With The Nigerian Navy

 

Residents of Onne community in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State and the public have been urged to collaborate with the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, in providing useful information on any breach of security in the area, as the new intake commences another round of training.

                               

The training is said to be the actualization of the focus of the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok- Ete Ibas. 

The call was contained in a statement issued by the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne, to newsmen.

It further stated that the focus of the training would centre on transforming the Trainees into real naval ratings, seamanship, weapon handling and courses on security.

The public is advised not to panic in the course of the exercise as it is a normal routine for the Naval Trainees.
