NLC Calls off Strike

It was a beehive of activities yesterday at the rivers State Secretariat after a fraction of the Nigerian Labour Congress called off the strike to protest the hike in fuel price.

Some Civil Servants including Mr. Sam Chikweri and Mr. Patrick Nsaani said the strike would have yielded result but failed because the organised Labour was divided.
