The Caretaker Chairman of Ahoada East Council, Mr.
Britain Ewor has assured his people that he is fully committed to the peace process
he initiated to create a secure and happy environment for the people.
Mr. Ewor gave the assurance in a statement released by
his media aide, Mr. Oyagiri shortly after a security meeting held at the
Council's secretariat.
The Chairman further reaffirmed the ceasefire
order earlier announced; stressing that it was the right of the people to have
a secured life and other basic necessities.
He stated that a secured environment where people
go about their daily activities unmolested remains his priority.
Mr. Ewor while calling on the elites to rally
behind his moves, said that GOD would
assist all efforts made to overcome insecurity in the area.
