Rivers State Government Promises Quality Education

Rivers State Government has restated its commitment towards improving the quality of education in the State
Governor Nyesom Wike said this during the Special memorial lecture organized by the Management of a school in Port Harcourt.

The Governor who was represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor on Security Matters, Mr. Emmanuel Ibama, explained that to improve standard of education, the state Government embarked on the upgrading of eleven old secondary schools in three senatorial districts in the State as well as building of new educational infrastructures.

Governor Wike said his administration would continue to support efforts aimed at bringing the best out of children and urged parents and guardians to take special interest in the activities of their children and wards and instill in them good morals as future leaders.
