Kpopie Bodo Road Commissioned by Gov. Wike

 

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has reiterated that he will complete road projects that were abandoned by the previous administration because of its huge benefit to the people of the state.

Governor Wike stated this during the inauguration of the construction of Kpopie Bodo city road in Gokana Local Government Area.

Governor Wike promised that the road will be completed within three months.

 

The Governor also appealed to the community not to harass the contractor so they can finish the project on record time.

While giving a vivid description of the road, Commissioner for Works, Mr. Iheanyichukwu Bethuel said the road is a single lane and awarded to a reputable contractor for durability.

  

For his part, the Caretaker Chairman of Gokana Local Government Area, Mr. Monday Dum-Iyie commended Governor Wike for coming to the aid of the people by resolving to complete the road.
